Anubis

17x48cm. Full sleeve.

Ancient Egyptians believed Anubis, son of Osiris, played a critical role in the judgement of dead kings who were guided to their trials by The Eye of Horus (also pictured in the bottom of the temptat with a hint of blue). Anubis placed their hearts on one side of a scale and a feather on the other. The results indicated whether the king could enter the afterworld.
